私はね、ただの猫の置物じゃないんだ。みんなに福を招く、縁起のいい猫なんだよ。特に、商売をしている人たちに人気で、お店や会社に飾ってもらうことが多いニャ。

私の歴史 (My History / 私の歴史)
私がいつからいるのか、実ははっきりとは分かっていないんだ。でも、江戸時代にはもういたみたいだニャ。色々な伝説があって、貧しいお寺の猫が、困っている人を助けた話や、お店の猫が、お客さんを招いて繁盛させた話なんかが有名だニャ。

私を飾るときは、できるだけキレイな場所に置いてほしいニャ。そして、時々話しかけてくれると、私も嬉しいニャ。
