節分ーSetsubun

Setsubun

It’s Setsubun today. This means the end of winter and the beginning of spring.Don’t you think February 3 seem too early for the beginning of spring?
Why do they celebrate it now? And Why do they throw beans saying Fukuwauchi,Oniwasoto? Kota knew the answer to the second question.

He said that
a long time ago,a demon bothered people. So they threw beans in his eyes to drive him away.As you know, mame is the Japanese word for bean, but it can mean a demon, or ma,and his eyes or me.Setsubun is also a day for eating one large roll of sushi without cutting it.Make a wish while you are eating. If you eat all of it, your wish will come true.Wow. I want to eat one roll of sushi.
