１⃣ 関税について
- 今日はニュースで「関税」が話題になっていた。
・Tariffs were a hot topic on the news today. - 海外からの製品にかかる税金のことらしい。
・It’s a kind of tax on imported goods. - 安く買えるはずの物が高くなるのは悲しいな。
・It’s sad when things cost more because of it. - でも国内の産業を守るためには必要なのかも。
・But maybe it’s needed to protect local industries. - 世界とつながるって、簡単じゃないんだなあ。
・Being connected to the world isn’t so simple.
２⃣ 貿易について
- 社会の授業で「貿易」について学んだ。
・We learned about trade in social studies today. - 国と国がモノやサービスをやりとりすることらしい。
・It means countries exchange goods and services. - 日本は食べ物やエネルギーをたくさん輸入してる。
・Japan imports a lot of food and energy. - 逆にアニメや車を外国に売ってるのもすごい。
・It’s cool that we export anime and cars. - 貿易って、世界がつながってるってことなんだな。
・Trade shows how connected the world really is.
３⃣ 移民について
- 今日のニュースで移民について話していた。
・Today’s news was talking about immigration. - 働く場所を求めて他の国に行く人がいるらしい。
・Some people move to other countries to find work. - 新しい文化になじむのはきっと大変だと思う。
・It must be hard to get used to a new culture. - でもお互いに助け合えたら素敵だなと思った。
・But I think it’s great if we can help each other. - 世界のいろんな人の気持ちを知りたいな。
・I want to understand how people around the world feel.
４⃣ 少子高齢化（Aging population and declining birthrate）
- 日本では赤ちゃんがどんどん減っているらしい。
・In Japan, fewer and fewer babies are being born. - お年寄りのほうが多くなってきているって驚いた。
・There are more elderly people now, which surprised me. - 将来、働く人が足りなくなるかもしれない。
・In the future, we might not have enough workers. - 子育てしやすい社会にすることが大事なんだな。
・It’s important to make it easier to raise children. - みんなが安心して生きられる国になってほしい。
・I hope everyone can live safely and happily in Japan.
５⃣ 労働問題（Labor issues）
- ニュースで「ブラック企業」という言葉を聞いた。
・I heard the word “black company” on the news. - 働きすぎて体をこわす人もいるみたいだ。
・Some people get sick from working too much. - 休むことも大事なんだって感じた。
・I realized that taking breaks is also important. - 働く人が笑顔でいられる社会がいいな。
・I want a society where workers can smile. - 働くって、つらいだけじゃなくて楽しくあってほしい。
・I hope work can be something fun, not just hard.
６⃣ 環境問題（Environmental issues）
- 地球温暖化って言葉をよく聞くようになった。
・I hear the word “global warming” a lot these days. - 気温が上がって、異常気象が増えてるみたい。
・Temperatures are rising, and strange weather is increasing. - ゴミを減らすことから始めてみようと思う。
・I want to start by reducing my trash. - 小さなことでも地球を守る力になるはず。
・Even small actions can help protect the Earth. - 未来の地球も、今みたいに美しくあってほしい。
・I hope the Earth stays beautiful for the future.
７⃣ 格差社会（Social inequality）
- お金持ちとそうでない人の差が広がってるらしい。
・The gap between the rich and the poor is getting bigger. - 同じ国に住んでいても生活が全然違うなんてびっくり。
・It’s surprising how different lives can be in the same country. - 勉強や仕事のチャンスも平等だといいのにな。
・I wish everyone had equal chances to study and work. - 助け合える社会って、きっとあたたかい。
・A society where people help each other feels warm. - ぼくも誰かの力になれる人になりたい。
・I want to be someone who can support others.
