間接疑問文は、英語でより丁寧で自然な質問をするための重要な文法です。「Do you know where…?」や「Could you tell me what…?」のように、疑問詞の後に「主語+動詞」の語順を使うことで、直接的な質問よりも柔らかい印象を与えます。
Indirect questions are essential grammar for asking questions more politely and naturally in English. By using the word order “subject + verb” after question words, such as “Do you know where…?” or “Could you tell me what…?”, you create a softer impression than direct questions.
